Expand your knowledge of the past, present and future of Indiana's urban research campus during a guided walking tour of campus sites on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009. Tours are available every half hour from 10 am. to 5 pm.

Tour of the Times is one of many campus activities being held as part of the yearlong celebration of IUPUI's 40th anniversary.

As Tour of the Times community partners, neighboring venues invite you to catch a shuttle or walk over for a visit. For starters, you can ride into the Wild West at the Eiteljorg Museum, experience local African American history at the Crispus Attucks Museum, or retrace the filming of "Hoosiers" at the old Wishard Hospital.

The guided campus tour is free. Some community venues may charge an entrance or special activities fee of $1-$45.

Date and Time: Saturday, September 26, 10am - 5pm
Tour Start/Shuttle Departure: IUPUI Campus Center, 420 University Blvd., Indianapolis
Shuttle Destinations: Eiteljorg Museum, IPS Crispus Attucks Museum, Madame Walker Theatre Center, Indiana Historical Society, Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites, National Art Museum of Sport at University Place, Herron School of Art and Design, Wishard Nursing Museum (the old Wishard Hospital), and White River State Park
Fee: Guided campus tour is free. Some community venues may charge an entrance or special activities fee of $1-$45.

Register for this event now through IUPUI's Community Learning Network website. Click on "Sign up...Course Catalog" under Quick Links. Event Parking

If you already have an IUPUI parking pass you may use this to park in any IUPUI parking lot on Saturday, September 26th.

There are limited metered parking spots along the East side of University Blvd between New York St. and W. Michigan St.

Vermont Street Garage at 1004 W. Vermont Street is available for visitors without parking passes. This is a pay per visit garage starting at a $2 minimum. If you participate the entire day from 10 am-5 pm the most you will pay is $7. They accept cash and credit cards upon check-out. For more campus parking information please visit
